RING AND RIDE COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
We have 6 minibuses that are fitted with tail lifts and are adapted to carry wheelchairs for severely handicapped passengers in the Stroud & Dursley area as well as a multi purpose vehicle that is converted to carry one wheelchair plus three passengers. We cover a large area from Gloucester to Berkeley, serving Day Centres, Residential Nursing Homes, also shopping trips for the elderly, frail and disabled and hospital visiting etc., (excluding Gloucester or Cheltenham hospitals).
More information about journeys you can make: Examples of local destinations to which we can provide transport are doctors, dentists, health centres, hospital appointments (excluding Cheltenham and Gloucester), day centres, shopping, chiropody clinics and other social activities.
Volunteers are always needed to act as escorts on the minibuses. Full training will be given and a Criminal Record Bureau check will be required.
